86 repentant members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect are currently undergoing rehabilitation at the Bulumkutu Rehabilitation Centre Maiduguri, Dr. Mohammed Goni Alkali, managing director of the North-East Development Commission (NEDC) has  said . The former terrorists are sheltered and catered for by the Borno State Government with support from development partners. Meanwhile, the NEDC is set to launch a scholarship program that will sponsor persons affected by insurgency in the region into the academics and to undertake vocational skills. Alkali says this is part of the commission’s effort in alleviating the sufferings of those affected by insurgency. Oyo state Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Mr Gbenga Fadeyi has confirmed the murder of popular Lagos-based trado-medical expert, Mr Fatai Yusuf, otherwise known as Oko Oloyun He said in a newspaper interview that Yusuf was killed around 4:30 pm on the road while travelling to Iseyin, Oyo State. He was reportedly attacked by some hoodlums at Igboora. His corpse has been deposited at the mortuary of Igbo-Ora General Hospital. Fadeyi, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said the Commissioner of Police Mr Shina Olukolu has visited the site of the incident along with some deputy commissioners. United States President, Donald Trump has now been formally impeached by the House of Representatives, for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The vote followed weeks of testimony, related to his dealings with Ukraine. 230 to 197 votes in the Democratic-majority House saw to the impeachment of the US president. Trump now becomes the third president in US history to be impeached. He will, however, remain in office until he is tried and convicted by the senate. It is an unlikely scenario because his Republican party has control of the upper chamber and are likely to acquit him. If he remains in office after the Senate trial, Trump will be joining a rare group of two other American presidents — Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton — who were impeached but saved by the Senate.
