She did it. On Wednesday, Hillary Clinton delivered a speech that actually made everyone feel excited about her economic vision.
It wasn’t so much that she gave  ideas everyone hadn’t heard before. Things like a big infrastructure build, affordable childcare, equal pay, and worker training have always been part of Clinton’s plan. It was more about the energy she brought to the speech, (in sharp contrast with Tuesday’s yawner) and the way in which she connected the dots.

BEIJING (Reuters) reported: China's military has carried out its first ever live-fire drills using an aircraft carrier and fighters in the northeastern Bohai Sea close to Korea, state media said. China's growing military presence in the disputed South China Sea has fueled concern, with the United States criticizing its militarization of maritime outposts and holding regular air and naval patrols to ensure freedom of navigation.

Court cautions Nyame against interfering with prosecution witnesses

An FCT High Court on Monday cautioned parties, their agents and surrogates to stop interfering with prosecution witnesses. The judge, Justice Adebukola Banjoko, gave the advise at the resumed trial of former Taraba State governor, Jolly Nyame, on Tuesday. Banjoko said she received complaints from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s prosecution team that the defendant was interfering with their witnesses. The judge also said one of her staff had been receiving messages in her mobile phone. “All these interference should stop, nothing but the truth will carry the day,’’ Banjoko said, and adjourned the case till Nov. 1. Nyame is standing trial on 41 counts of money laundering, criminal breach of trust and gratification of N1.64bn.
