Mark Salling Child Pornography Case Delayed as Former Glee Star Seeks New Representation

A judge has delayed Mark Salling's trial on child pornography charges.
During a hearing Monday, a judge granted the Glee actor's request to find a new attorney, and the original trial date of July 12 was taken off the calendar to accommodate the new legal counsel, a United States District Attorney's Office spokesperson said.
No new trial date has been set, and a status conference – a hearing in which trial dates are set – is scheduled for Sept. 19.
Salling, 33 was named in a two-count indictment on May 27. The indictment alleged he received and possessed videos and still images of child pornography involving young girls, for which he was arrested in December 2015. Investigators said the laptop, a hard drive, and a USB flash drive seized from Salling's residence allegedly contained thousands of images and videos depicting child pornography.
Salling is out on a $150,000 bond, and has been ordered to wear an ankle bracelet for monitoring.
